EYE-XL and EYE-XL Plus contain FloraGLO ® Lutein which is a purified form of lutein. Unlike other forms of lutein, FloraGLO ® Lutein contains no esterfied fatty acids. Therefore, FloraGLO ® Lutein is directly absorbed by the human body. Zeaxanthin is also added to EYE-XL and EYE-XL Plus as this is another powerful antioxidant found in the macula of the eye.

EYE-XL is a full strength formula, which contains (per capsule) 6mg FloraGLO ® Lutein. This provides the full daily amount of 6mg lutein supported by the most recent scientific research and it is suitable for everyday use by younger people, generally under 50.

EYE-XL Plus is a higher strength
formula, which contains (per capsule) 10mg FloraGLO ® Lutein. This is suitable for older people, generally over 50, who are more vulnerable to macular degeneration. EYE-XL Plus is also suitable for people who spend a lot of their time outdoors as they are more exposed to bright sunlight. The daily dosage may be increased safely to 20mg, which will provide even more protection.
